"Since you have called me, I know your desire. It is a comfortless wish. You ask for pain."

Tanith Lee - Red as Blood

Right?
Correct.

BTW, other engines found this as well.

Tanith Lee named both the book title and short story within, Red as Blood. The book title has an added "(By the Sisters Grimmer)" attached. She based the story loosely upon Snow White, and the young maid is a vampire.

Didn't you tell me "i can find just about anything". :)

The quote is from the internet, so you won't find it at the library. :)

So it was you with the spade. I was woundering about that.

This is a long one.

"... a soft blindfold locking out the light. At the end of that drive, your entire body in a state of sexual hunger and your mind obsessed with the fruition of all your deepest fantasies, you may come to our household.
I shall be awaiting you.
You will learn to hate me.
And you will remember your stay in our house for the rest of your life."

I'm not sure so I'll ask before posting anything new...

Is it from The Marketplace by Sara Adamson?

I googled the quote and the exact thing came up from an online RPG community called "The Marketplace."

hmmm sorta right. I got the quote from the book "The Marketplace" and the author is different...but im guessing just a pseudonym or something?

That is odd. The RPG group seemed to be the only thing that came up when I searched.

Well, since the answer is now out I suppose I'll put up a new quote...

"Beauregard found himself liking this ancient girl. Genevieve was unlike any of the women, warm or un-dead, he knew."

Good luck!

You are indeed correct. I actually was expecting it to be a little longer until someone got it. Oh well. Now it's your turn.

Wow, one has to be quick to play this game! :)
