Anyone who pays attention to the political threads on this or the General fora can guess who I am. I'm not trying to hide it.

Apology

I had a lot of fans. I received several PMs each week from people who agreed with my political views, but did not want to face the backlash of declaring so publicly on these fora. I feel that I have let those people down.

I am in this situation because I was lazy. I had a habit of posting the same post in multiple threads if that post was relevant in all of them. I did this on October 2, 2019, on three threads. I then saw on some of my posts from the day before that the fora moderators considered such practice such practice "Flooding the forum with posts" in violation of Forum Guidelines.

Rather than going back and making each of the three posts I had posted earlier that morning unique to themselves, I lazily posted under each a single lame sentence suggesting each was unique from "the one before it"; "the one after it"; and "the other two." The moderator either did not notice the differences in these sentences, or deemed them insufficient. The end result of my laziness was a severe sanction.

I apologize to all members of these fora for my laziness. To those of you who faithfully followed me before, I apologize for the disruption to my posting.

From now on, I shall make every post truly unique.

You were banned more for your politics than any technical violation of the rule. In fact, I'm not sure you actually violated the rule. It states:

"Flooding the forum with posts... with the intent of disrupting the forum is prohibited."

You exhibited no "intent of disrupting the forum." All of you posts, though repetitious, were on point to the forums in which you posted them.

If, after your above acknowledgement, apology, and promise, they now ban this membership, we will know Literotica is taking sides.

Actually, this seems to have made me a bit of a hero.

I have received several supportive and lauding PMs in the past 24 hours, one even from a self-confessed Democrat who says she thinks I was mistreated.

I'm still bothered by the disruption, but it's had its upsides.

Politics aren't always the deciding factor in these divisive times and I've had some communication with the mods of this board before to appreciate the thankless job they have running it. Sometimes enough violations of a technical rule will be enough to enact a retribution - I would just leave it at that.

So go out there, post your posts, and continue to do your thing. Piss people off, make others uncomfortable, and rouse those who cheer your points. All boards and threads are made better with more voices participating.

I especially appreciated what you said about the moderators. That's why I have apologized, not complained. It was my laziness that got my first iteration in trouble. I do not blame the Lit staff at all.

KiethD, as usual is playing small ball, Take the owners and administrators out the equation and in the spirit of Vanadorn statement, no one poster has more privilege than another. Authority provided by the owners ( governing body ) down to each poster is an equal entitlement granted and governed by its bylaws. The privilege is defined as each member is given permission by the governing body to partake within the community in sanctioned activities which is equally granted to all posters as a collective. Being part of the collective each poster then has a right to post as it relates to other equal posters. So Vanadorn is correct with his statement "but you have the right to present them". To invoke privilege could be interpreted as one poster having authority over another. Just my humble opinion.

My argument is within the context of Vanadorn's statement. I'm not challenging the owners rights to govern it's activities. I'm not questioning the action LIT took towards you, although I believe it was a set up. GB is a community not your backyard, it consist of many backyards. To deny one backyard freedom of expression while accepting another is by legal definition "a privilege". The relationship between a poster and the owner is considered a privilege, whereas, the owner has ultimate authority and the right to deny and govern it's bylaws. However, all things being equal, Vandahorn stated in effect, you have as much of a right as any other poster to express your opinion as long as each individual adheres to the bylaws. Your banning was a process violation and not one of content, although, kiddy porn would be a content violation as well as a violation of statute and indictable. What Keith stated was correct, the Owners can suspend or ban a poster the privilege to participate for violating bylaws, I don't believe that was the spirit of Vandahorns comment. Someone set you up and it's unfortunate that such a coward would report such an insignificant violation. I've seen much worst. Just my humble opinion.
