Naturally, we assumed that Mustafa LeBlanc's story had come to a tragic end, as is generally the case when one is consumed by a llama. Mustafa's soul, however, was a singularly resilient spark, not to be snuffed out so easily. Instead of simply leaving this plane of existence, as you or I would in similar circumstances, Mustafa's consciousness took up residence alongside Jose Arcadio Buendia's. At first Mustafa was understandably befuddled by the bizarre turn of events, but he was so overjoyed to still be alive (after a fashion) that he soon broke into song, a Peruvian folk song called "Todo Este Tiempo," which, as you might imagine, rather startled Jose Arcadio Buendia, the erstwhile sole inhabitant of the llama's body.

As you may recall, Jose Arcadio did not take kindly to this intrusion.
