I disagree. Discrimination on the grounds of race, sex etc is apalling, but the idea of anyone having to treat everyone equally is fraught with danger. Are you considering for example, equality of process or of outcomes?

People should retain the right to discriminate but with that right comes the responsibility for accepting the consequences of ones discrimination.

Sometimes discrimination is entirely reasonable, sometimes entirely unreasonable.

discrimination due to race/gender/creed/age are already legislated against. and for good reasons. this bill (should it pass and given the big money it's interfering with i'm dubious it will) would be flying in the face of these measures put into place to protect all sorts of people.

what i am considering is what is right and what is wrong. these damned christians pushing for the bill seem to have completely forgotten the basic teachings of christianity - about treating your neighbour as you would wish to be treated yourself. instead, you have this sort of lobby group:
