They're investigating the crate right now!

I sooo want an otter!

Apparently one of them tried to take a piece into the tunnels -- it's stuck there.

The Penguin cam is my second favorite. The Aviary/Bird cam is sorta eh...birds running up the sand, birds running down the sand, birds standing on the sand.

So where Are these damn webcam links? I wanted to turn on the stingray one for myself, and the otters for the baby!!!

Otters seem to enjoy life.

I watched a trio of little Asian river otters (about a foot tall) at Miami's zoo one day when nobody else was around. They must like having an audience, because they moved their play down to the end of the pool where I was standing. One of them came as close to the barrier as she could, and showed me how many rocks she could balance on her head while standing upright: one.

Still impressive, though. Considering.

Our local zoo has several river otters in an enclosure that includes a hollow log exactly one otter too small. Watching the whole pack trying to jam themselves into it and repeatedly squirting various members out the other side is quite amusing.

Hmmmm. I must investigate the Monterey Bay cams. I still fondly remember their leafy sea dragons. Fascinating things.

The Otter Cam has an addictive quality. The caretakers come in 4 times a day to feed, clean, change toys, etc. One otter is a particularly fat and slinky creature and I love watching her high-speed inch worming into the little shore area.
