I was emailed this by a friend - I thought it was worth passing on. It didn't even take me 10 seconds total to fill out:

I know not everyone supports the President's decision to target Iraq and many people have made the news lately protesting the potential war with Saddam. However, lets not forget the thousands of men and women who don't have that right to protest, but have a duty to defend that right; those people who have chosen to serve in our armed forces.

Please visit the Department of Defense web page below and sign in thanking the men and women of the U.S. military services for defending our freedom.

The compiled list of names will be sent out to our soldiers at the end of the month. So far, there are only about 6. 4 million names... from a national population of over 250 million. What a shame.

The entire exercise takes 10 seconds...literally. Please pass it on to your e-mail friends.

Thanks for the link Dillinger. I hope that everyone here adds their name, regardless of politics.

Added mine - and I'm NOT a US Citizen.

Thanks for this time, thanks for World War 2, thanks for World War 1, and oops - sorry we burnt the White House in the War of 1812. Still it looks quite good now you have repainted it.
