I was noticing part of Juliangel signature line (melt in to you)

And got to thinking how much I liked the song that was done by Modern English or maybe Basic English back in the eighties. It included the line

"I'll stop the world and melt with you. I've seen the difference and its getting better all the time..."

What is the name of the band and the name of the song?

I know the song and I love it, I cannot remember who sings it though. It is on the Pretty in Pink sound track but that is not were my signature line came from.

It is from the Faith Hill song Breath

Hmmmmmmm

No i'm pretty sure it was "something" English Spark. Unless they covered it from "The Furs" or vice versa.

It was on a soundtrack. It was from a movie where Nicholas Cage played this Punk Rocker who had fallen in love with a valley girl. The movie was pretty bad and I can't remember the name of it either.

Juliangel, how could I not recognize the lovely Ms. Hill's song?;)

I think you're right, it was Modern English, but I can't remember the name of the song.

God, where's Auntie Bella when we need her?

Yes Mia that's it Thank you!!!

A lolipop for the belle from la belle province

Mia comes riding in on a snow white steed saves the day and bolts.

Farewell Mia I shall never forget you.

Damn I knew the answer to that. I love 80's trivia. It's the best. Could anyone name who sung that song from Pretty in Pink "If you Leave"?
