8 Simple Rules… for “Dating” Emily

Is there some sliver of a chance that I’m still finding my way round here (and not the user with 50,000 posts who is in disguise as some seem to think)? I think there must at least be a small chance, right?

Do you treat all newbies as suspicious?

Em

You’re clearly lost. This is the GB. Half of us don’t even think you’re female. The other half think you’re a rude, annoying, lying cunt.

Don’t even get me started on what you referred to as your “age play” avatar.

The people you think are on your side or “nice” are obviously a bunch of mouth-breathing wankers.

we are all of us judged on what we post: your choice of avatar, post-content and (professed) ignorance of the multiple posting boards here will all be 'judged'.

You were informed early on that this wasn't the board for this; even a cursory glance at the various boards would offer some insight as to where your posts would be more suited. The fact you didn't bother to look on a site you claim to be new to, nor offer a thankyou for the heads up another poster offered, nor a basic apology and rerouting of your post has me thinking what i do. That's on you.
It feels like this place is getting a Lord of the Flies vibe TBH.

Who on Earth reads all the pinned threads? Maybe 5% of people?

I’m not advertising a service. I just wanted somewhere to put these points. Why this discombobulates people so remains something of a mystery. Not everything is a conspiracy.

It’s funny how social media sites descend into Lord of the Flies (Yellowjackets?) given enough time.

This is what happens when you let people pick their own genders.

^^^ Couldn't have said WHAT better?

(Obviously you could have.)

Lol
Of course
But I do worry, it's amazing to see people so concerned that another person has boundaries

I've always considered literotica to be a safe space, and yes I know there's plenty of men here who aren't lovely, I just didn't expect to see it so openly expressed
There are certainly plenty of people, men and women, on here who can’t resist sticking their noses in with unwanted “advice” or unwarranted comments. Ignore them emily! (Now there’s some unwanted advice for you 🙄)

My, that’s a very high horse you have there!

  1. Don’t start giving me orders before you have properly introduced yourself
  2. Don’t tell me what you want to do without also asking what I might like to do as well
  3. Don’t ask me to share a photo when I have explained I won’t do that until I know you really well and why this is the case
  4. Don’t complain that I am not responding to you quickly enough - I talk to a lot of people on Lit, some very regularly - buy time with a cam girl if you want that
  5. Do take the time to tell me about yourself and why it might be fun to spend some time together
  6. Do try to remember you are talking to another human being with wants, needs and different moods
  7. Do recall that you aren’t paying for my time, so there has to be something in it for me
  8. Do realise that I have a job and something resembling a social life, sometimes these take precedence over your needs
Unofficial rule 9: Please check what time zone I am in (East Coast of the US) and don’t expect a reply to a PM saying “are you feeling horny?” at 4am my time.
Seems pretty reasonable to me.
