And over the last 6-7 years the “old fella” has lost sensitivity. Part of it, I know, is masturbating to too much porn, but has any other guy out there experienced this as part of aging, and are there any fixes? (Serious answers only, please….). Happy New Year!

Yes. I have done some Googling and the alleged fix is to leave Mr. Happy alone for a few months. Yeah. Months.

It's a proven fact that viewing porn diminishes your real sex drive and feelings.

Masturbating on a daily basis deadens the sensitivity of the organs.

Stay away from porn for a while and see what happens.

Also, stop masturbating on a daily basis and see what happens.

Thanks very much for taking the time to reply; I agree 100% with what you say…except the masturbating on a “daily basis,” which I don’t….not even close. But right on, with the other stuff…..

I sometimes cant get hard unless watching porn, no matter if i was with Marylin Monroe, but once hard it stays hard with attention.

Doesn’t sound like you want to try any of the prescription pills that are out there. My Grandfather tried changing his diet and that seems to have helped. And no, I didn’t talk to him about it.

it's not you, or obtaining insensitivity - it's biological clocks.
that's my observation anyway.
I'm actually trying to find a bf in our age group, the guys I meet are rather timid in the area of romance.
to me, it's ok that guy is going into that phase of life.
I can't seem to find bf for other reasons. I just go along being single.

Chronic masturbation is a sign of anxiety, and not just sex drive. A way to wear the body out and something to do...like when a dog just randomly starts humping things, and it can cause damage when you're older and continue to push the limits of how many times you can get off.

What prescription pills would that be?

Not sure why some folks have come up with “Chronic masturbation,” and “masturbating on a daily basis,” neither of which I’ve said…

By losing sensitivity do you mean problems getting an erection or problems ejaculating?

Viagra: 25 milligrams (mg), 50 mg, and 100 mg.

Cialis: 2.5 milligrams (mg), 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg.

The older you are the lower the dosage.

These do nothing for sensitivity. They are specifically for ED, which I don’t have a problem with…..but thanks…

Erection, not a prob. Stimulation to ejac, takes forever….(partners get bored! Lol)…
Age could be a factor. I’m 68…elections aren’t a problem but ejaculation takes a while. Typically I can cum once a week…maybe more but would definitely take a while. In my case, meds could play a role. But, my lover understands, knows she will be well taken care of and enjoys the ride!

Have you spoken with a doctor or GP. Tried Viagra or Cialis? It's just a sign of age but it can help a great deal.

I'm 60 and I use 100mg viagra. I've also dosed at 150mg but doesn't give me any extra!

Cialis, can't handle the side effects; gives me muscle aches like you wouldn't believe for 2 days after.

I have also lost some sensitivity though; it's not a major issue (in some ways it's a bonus) because I can fuck for as long as I have the stamina for, take a break, fuck again, and again... but I can't cum. I don't feel like it's a major issue (and certainly better than being premature) but it might be nice to make a deposit now and again. I haven't masturbated for about 2 months now, but it hasn't made a difference yet.

Have you ever had your testosterone level checked, with low testosterone you can still get and maintain an erection but the sensitivity level can be drastically reduced. I found out about this when I had an issue in getting and maintaining and erection, my issue was diagnosed as ED as well as diminished testosterone which was helped by trying different ED prescriptions. For me Viagra wasn't good, Cialis worked ok but didn't like the fact of having to plan, finally tried 2.5mg dose of daily Cialis which worked but not at all times so my doctor put me on 5mg daily and that turned out to be the perfect dose for me enabling me to get and maintain whenever the mood hits.

Thanks for the reply; once again, I’m referring to diminished sensitivity, NOT ed. Viagra, Cialis are for ED, which I have no problem with…

Interesting, because about a year ago I started a regular work-out regime, and my testosterone levels are off the charts. I originally thought that that would help with the sensitivity, but I’ve found no difference. And once again, I’m asking about decreased sensitivity, NOT ed. thanks for the reply.

This is my solution. No chemical aftereffects, guaranteed to work every time, cheaper than pills...the older man's friend...
