During covid, a woman saw other communities had created a "rock snake" using painted rocks. So, she made a few and started one in our community at the community lake.

It wrapped completely around the lake once everyone added their painted contributions to it...well over a mile long...

After 2 years, it was time to remove the rocks...

Rooster Rock, Rooster Rock State Park, Oregon.
Doesn't look much like a rooster, does it? Used to be called "Cock Rock." It is also home to one of the few clothing-optional beaches in a state park.
