Hey life happens. For me these one a day things are odd. On the one hand they open you up to what is happening all around you but sometimes they become an obligation, even drudgery.Well, I've fallen and will have to get back up another time. ..The other times I've done it, it's been pretty good for me. But, I was really running out of steam this time, fairly early on.
When I did my first 30/30 early this year, I probably hadn't written twenty poems in the year that preceded it. Hell, I hadn't even been writing for a whole year at that point.
Thought I could use a push, and it's fun here when there are others trying to get through it, too. But, yeah, life happened.
..Thanks, Harry. I was writing quite a few of those this time, just lost all track of time yesterday, and by the time I realized it, it was too late. Maybe next time, I'll set a daily alarm.

Thank you all. It's funny but the poem felt matter-of-fact as i wrote it. Thinking that way is the new normal for me if only because I can't imagine ending the conversation.
