Corporate Democrats hate Marianne Williamson much more than Republicans and will fight harder against her and her policies than they will against Republicans. Hard core, right wing, conservative, anti-abortionist Democrats like Joe Manchin will get financial, moral, and political support year after year while Democratic party bosses are hating on candidates like Bernie Sanders and Marianne Williamson all day long.I agree with all of these things. I don't know who marianne is, however. And sadly, I suspect the usual forum trolls- the hisarpy/millionairenextdoor/chobham guy, and Rightguide, for example, will read that list and bitch about how it's all "Socialist propaganda." Such is a commentary of the sad times we now live in.
This country needs a Roosevelt. Or a Marianne. Or even, a decent human being interested in governing, as opposed to simply seizing power and wealth, and/or advancing some hateful racist/apartheid agenda, to become the head of our nation.
Overdue.Ambitious.
21st Century.Good ideas never go out of style and some are way overdue.
I clearly remember Bernie Sanders rallies with tens of thousands of people attending while corporate media had a static shot of a empty podium for a Trump appearance. Bernie was depicted as an unserious candidate with opinions and policies outside the mainstream while Trump was considered a media phenomenon whose every word must be documented and broadcast to every home in the nation. The sad thing is they will give hate-mongering extremists like Marjorie Tyler Greene and Tucker Carlson all the air time in the world but will impose a "corporate media blackout" against Marianne Williamson, whose message would actually resonate with far, far more people than someone like Tucker Carlson or Marjorie.
So much for the "Liberal" media, right?
21st Century.
1 thru 6 are crap. You deserve what you've earned, not for the reason of your existence. The world will be fine without you and you are NOT entitled to the sweat of another's brow.
What the hell does 7 even mean?
8 is not a right, but it is a reasonable expectation.
9 Agreed.
10 Who is excluded?
Your low opinion of U.S. workers as lazy opportunists is less than inspiring. The right to a good paying job. Once you say everyone gets a good paying job, all incentive to land and keep such employment is gone.
You're evidence is based on envy, period and in no way addresses 1 thru 6. Those are implied governmental mandates and are at the very core of "Das Kapital" and the "Communist Manifesto."Unless you are a CEO. Then you absolutely deserve what your workers have earned and are entitled to the sweat of their brow.

Sweet fucking Jesus. Why does everyone have to consult and over analyze every fucking thing in their life through the prism of Marx, Engels, and Friedman? If I need a pothole filled on my street I don't need to know what some dead philosopher thought about the means of production in the 19th century. You're evidence is based on envy, period and in no way addresses 1 thru 6. Those are implied governmental mandates and are at the very core of "Das Kapital" and the "Communist Manifesto."
That being said, I agree that CEO pay is out of whack but that re-numeration is based on stock value. Fine, that's what they negotiated. But you are a free agent. You can choose to NOT spend your money on anything that those corporations produce. Yes, it will cost you more in the front end but will save you in taxes in the back end under your manifesto, and those CEO's will pay the price.
You, I, every one, as individuals with free agency have the ability to decide who we do business with........so far. The proposals you put forth will lead to nothing more than the centralization of power, financially and politically
The Economic Bill of Rights will go nowhere for the simple reason that there is no support for it anywhere on the spectrum of official politics.
The premise of an equitable justice system or of equal access to so-called ‘democratic participation’ tends to work best for minds silly enough to believe it.
Marx’ term for ‘accumulated capital’ was ‘worker blood.’ If that is so, it has rather grave implications for many contemporary matters. That’s why the MELT quartet [Marx/Engels/Lenin/Trotsky — in some or another combination] keeps reappearing.the prism of Marx…
The text is entirely correct. Defeatism in all forms must be rejected. As representation and ‘reform’ are impossible, that means the working class [the 90%] must force its own demands into the stream of political discourse. Quite bluntly, the state must be handed a crisis: Comply or pass from the stage of history; we’re done following.
I challenge you to objectively define such subjective terms as "equitable justice" and "equal access."The Economic Bill of Rights will go nowhere for the simple reason that there is no support for it anywhere on the spectrum of official politics.

Don't worry, the voices in your head don't get a vote.there is a subset of people who want nothing to do with things like jobs and earnings; a class of hands out for handouts. They think that that is their right and just due in such a "rich" country.
