Corporate Democrats hate Marianne Williamson much more than Republicans and will fight harder against her and her policies than they will against Republicans. Hard core, right wing, conservative, anti-abortionist Democrats like Joe Manchin will get financial, moral, and political support year after year while Democratic party bosses are hating on candidates like Bernie Sanders and Marianne Williamson all day long.

So look, America is a clusterfuck right now. The masses continue to vote against their own best interest, denying themselves decent medical coverage, adequate wage inflation, decent schools…etc. All while voting for tax breaks and bullshit trickle down economic policies that have never once in history proven effective. But the list proposed is nonsensical. Just look at item number 1. The right to a good paying job. Once you say everyone gets a good paying job, all incentive to land and keep such employment is gone. The right has gone to far in favour of corporations, even arguing they deserve the rights of people. But to combat such idiocy with equally flawed policy proposals does nobody any good.

I clearly remember Bernie Sanders rallies with tens of thousands of people attending while corporate media had a static shot of a empty podium for a Trump appearance. Bernie was depicted as an unserious candidate with opinions and policies outside the mainstream while Trump was considered a media phenomenon whose every word must be documented and broadcast to every home in the nation.

That being said, I agree that CEO pay is out of whack but that re-numeration is based on stock value. Fine, that's what they negotiated. But you are a free agent. You can choose to NOT spend your money on anything that those corporations produce. Yes, it will cost you more in the front end but will save you in taxes in the back end under your manifesto, and those CEO's will pay the price.

If I need a pothole filled on my street I don't need to know what some dead philosopher thought about the means of production in the 19th century.

I'm dealing with the here and now. I want common sense solutions to the problems going on today and don't really give a fuck what Marx, Friedman, or anybody else's grand vision of how the world should work for some unique problem that requires a unique solution right now.

The only reason that it has no current future, is because we have such low current voter and citizen participation. Literally less than 1/4 of our eligible voters do so in every election and more than 1/3 of our eligible voters never vote at all. We have more people who never vote than people who always vote.

The average American is a non-voter. They have abdicated their civic authority and the rest of us just get the "pleasure" of living with it.
