No, I’m saying trump negotiated with the Taliban behind the Afghan government’s back and made a deal with them to leave by a certain date or they’d ramp up war, hence at his feet. If Biden stayed and more US solders were deployed there because of the Taliban waging war you’d be shitting your pants about that.

Like I have written before, imho Trump was wrong with his plan. Things were well under control and I believe we had minimal casualties over a two year period. Bagram air base was a strategically located air base located near Pakistan, Iran and Iraq. We also had allies working with us to provide air support for the Afghan army. We had a new generation of Afghan youngsters who were being educated and incubating in democratic principles. We provided a safety net for girls and women alike to educate themselves and become a productive part of their potential new found democratic government. I understand my position is unpopular but we invested so much treasure and there was much more to gain working with a co-op government. Now China is working overtime to fill the void we left and we still give millions of dollars to the Afghan *whatever it is* which is backed doored to the Taliban.

Afghanistan is rich in minerals and green energy mineral resources and rare earth elements.
