11 days pending?

Submitted a story in Romance 11 days ago and it is still pending. All my previous stories were in Loving Wives, where publication seemed to be only a few days. What gives?

Did you upload it as a doc file? I found out it takes way longer to get through pending with that. If you have markdown in your text like bold and italics, you can use some online tools like HTML Cleaner to convert your doc into pure HTML and post it into the text box instead of uploading the file, it'll go through pending much faster.

.docx file, same as the dozen or more stories submitted to LW which went through in a few days. No bold, no italics.

Same here. Have had one sitting in Pending for ten days. Used to submit in text with HTML codes, but had a few Lit page breaks cross a few papragraphs and the HTML doesn't cross Lit page breaks. Been submitting as docx for quite a while, first time it's taken more than a few days. Would be nice if Lauren or one of the other Lit people would chime in on this.

I recommend copy+paste in the story text field in the future
