Not sure if there is a thread about this, but me being obsessed with cars i was wondering if any of you had a choice in a 100k area what car would yo have.

lets say maybe list 3

1. BMW X6m
2. Maserati Quatroporte
3. BMW Alpina B7

Had to look up a list to see what cars are in the $100k price range.

Audi R8
Porshe 911 Turbo
Aston Martin DB9

Nice!!

i went more for universal choice, the ones that can be used as sporty and luxurious, the cars i listed are not less sporty then ones you did but your are more exotic, good choice

I'd upgrade my C5 to a C6 ZR1
or I'd go old school and get 50's/60's show car.

Nice, Vets are amazing, and for the price you pay its twice the car, the only thing thats not as good as some of the european cars is the quality of the materials, interior and such, but the car is HOT.

i was considering getting onw.

Yeah, they do go with cheaper materials on the inside. But I love how it handles.

handles well, very well actually, little tail happy but thats fun too.

does it only come stickshift or you can get tiptronic as well?

I have a 6-speed.

You can get them in an automatic - which is blasphemy.

well.. as long as we're shopping..

Maybach 62S.. every now and then, when I go to dinner at this place around the corner, there is one parked in the front. The sad thing is, it's probably owned by that 72 year old woman in the polyester pantsuit who sits by the window.. ::sigh::

100k to spend on a vehicle shopping spree...oh that's an easy one!

$10k on a used Beemer E39 540i (with manual & MSport farkles, thank you very much)...and $70k on a Corso Rosso collection of Italian two wheeled artistry.

Ducati Panigale R for a track toy and weekend posing sessions.

Pike's Peak Tricolore edition Multistrada for weekend rides with a "friend"...

And a Bimota DB4...just because I have always thought they were the best looking bikes you could ride on the street and I have been lusting after one for years....

Any cash left over will be spent keeping all of the above serviced and sending an Italian bike mechanics kids through school. :D
I have the used BMW sorted out...still working on building my fleet of Italia corsa excellence.
Doesn't matter how opulent, or expensive they are...after you ride your first Ducati every car becomes a cage.

I'd buy a tired old splitscreen VW Camper and have it fully restored - then spend the rest of the 100k travelling europe with it.

:))))

(he did not just bring up the "danger of wrapping myself around a pole" on an adult website) heh

Haa haa, hey I didn't want to go there...but he was worried his next ride would end up with him wrapped around a pole, after he had to lay it down and scrub in some rubber...

i guess one has to be carefull what they say on such a forum ha...

for a while.. I had something like this as my sig line.. but then I got accused of being a gold-digger by some unknowing buttheads so i changed it to something more respectable.

"There are a number of mechanical devices which increase sexual arousal,
particularly in women. Chief among these is the Mercedes-Benz 380SL."
- - Lynn Lavner

common :)

when mentioning SL at least add AMG to it...there is nothing wrong with the quote. accusing someone on a forum is like trying to fill up the ocean by adding glass of water.
