10/25/00 NYC morn - Mets on the move.

Everyone here in NYC is going through serious sleep depravation. It's too much - too late. And the Jets on Monday night simply added to the whole thing. My hunch is that the Mets will win again this evening. Evening the series.

It's sunny again today - perfect day to wonder the Big Apple. Too bad I can't. Work, work, work.....

Speaking of which - I've received rumblings and grumbling regarding this here new habit. So it's scale back time. I'll most likely continue with the morning posts and jump in here and there during the day - but I will half this situation. If I miss a morning - please somebody jump on in - hell on anyway - I don't own any rights to this - anyone can run there very own morning thread any time they wish - no skin off my flute.

So with that - have a wonderful day. Oh, yeah, I guess I'm running an 8 or so.

Nobody from the board grumbling. Sorry, but you all know I don't give a shit about the unwritten rules of the board. Or give two hoots (hoot-hoot) what boardmembers - who I really don't know from Adam - care about what or how many Sparky posts there are.

I'm anti-numerical, anti-label, anti-guru - Laurel won't (she can't I guess) make an exception for me (as I requested) to simple labet me "master of all dipshits" with zippo on the post numbers.

Nope - it's real life shit - "real" people. They are noticing. (I'm not only anti-numerical, anti'system but I'm also open door, thay can walk in my office anytime, which they do to.) Some of'em think I'm writing a book. There's talk. So, it's professional time - time to maintain and suck up to the suits - mask my real inner self (which is Sparky but of course you guys know that all too well) and play "the game" of life.

This morning I am a 4. My sore throat from yesterday is worse and now I have a stuffy nose, cough and ear aches to go with it. So I sit her nursing a cup of hot tea with honey hoping I feel better but tonight because we are going to my inlaws for dinner.

I've come to enjoy your morning ramblings and posts. IF you slow down, I will miss them.

I am also sorry to hear that you're being given grief at work, but you have to do what you have to do. Even though I'm not from NYC, I've been a Yankee fan most of my life so the past five years have been great, I'm hoping for the Yankees in 5 so we don't have to go back to the Roger and Mike show on Saturday.

As for me, I'm about a 7 today. Home from work because of a kidney stone, so yuck.
