A couple of years ago:
Googling 'symptoms of ADHD in girls' because I think one of my teens probably qualifies and I want more info on how I can support her, I recognize myself in the the descriptions. Holy cow! It makes so much sense!
Excitedly, I share my discovery with my adult daughters: 'Omg! I think I have ADHD!' They confirm.
A year ago:
Googling 'executive function supports for innattentive-type ADHD,' because my ADHD daughter is struggling in schooI, I recognize my areas of weakness in the infographics. Holy cow! It makes so much sense!
Excitedly, I share my discovery with my adult daughters: 'Omg! I think I have ADHD!'
My oldest daughter responds, 'Yeah, Mom, we already knew that. We figured that out last year.'
