No it doesn't. That mode would mean that the follicle is first producing white, and then changing back to black again. That's the odd part.
Well, dyeing can of course mess the colour...Am considering dyeing it again, maybe bleach it this time so I can go platinum blonde
ohhh I'm with you now... that sounds like the same thing that happened to my nails when I was a kid. It used to grow out white from the cuticle but then grow out a natural colour after a couple weeks so it would have odd streaks of white. It stopped eventually but I never did find out why

That's possibly true, although my brother did get his white hairs at 17 and it was so obvious by the time he was in his 20s so it might be genetic. It's possible that I'm just too stubborn and have been resisting all this time
