Once upon a time, a small distillery north of Toronto would sell you a gallon of whisky right off the still in its own oak cask. Sadly I never got around to buying one. They don't sell it any more. I think that they had to stop selling it (whisky must be at least 3 years old to get sold in this country).

Over here, businesses don't get taxed if the whisky is still in the cask (I think). But I was hoping for a tabletop cask, like the one in the picture. It would look cute on my desk

Although I did find a bottle of milk, so maybe a gallon doesn't require a lorry to transport, oops

So the cask was about 4 liters. A barrel is 700 liters.

I found a cluster of white hairs on my head last week. I have plucked over 20 since then, which is more than the 1 every two years that I normally found before, which made it feel like I'm losing this battle.
