The area where I live was hit by 4 tornadoes this morning and my home had some damage by one of them. Wifey and I are OK. We had lost power for six hours and it's obviously back on. We got high winds, quarter sized hail, downed tree damage, a neighbor's house was destroyed.

Ohio is all flat farm lands, there's not much hills or low mountains to slow storms down. Winds from the north west are the worst,
So, yes, we get more than usual areas. Certainly more than New York Stare.
