She’s good, she’s home this weekend. Can’t believe she’s in her senior year of college. I’m currently out of work but I’m signed up for a Figma Bootcamp in two weeks that will hopefully make me attractive to employers.

Figma is an app that people use to build apps, websites and more. I’m a long time print designer and the shift to digital has been killing me professionally. A Bootcamp in this case is a two day intensive training into the nuts and bolts that can give you a kickstart.

I might not be talkative much this week. The final vet visit for my cat is tomorrow, and on Wednesday I'll go to our summer cabin to bury him, it will be a couple of nights with my parents. Also I'm totally expecting my physical energy to crash tomorrow due to it. I kinda wish I could just get drunk, but my body would totally freak out....

I feel your pain. I've been through three beloved cats and the last one, I had to be hospitalized for because I tried to terminate myself because of grief.

When my beloved cat Thomas had to be put down it absolutely destroyed me. He had bonded to me and was MY cat, he tolerated my wife and daughter but LOVED ME.
