😈✨🍺MrTenant's Tavern and Dungeon

Good day for an old fashioned.

((Leans forward))

You know I’ve been thinking how often, getting a submissive out of her head is a reward in and of itself.

When I was a young lad, discovering myself in all the fun ways, I’d lament that I was always in my head and never in the moment, depriving myself of ultimate intimacy.

I was today years old when I connected these dots (that have been staring at me in the face all these years) … that being in my head and in the moment is ultimately intimacy achieved for me.

The journey of life …

I'm ordering my groceries again. Not even to be picked up (though I'd get bigger selection that way) but to be delivered home. I'm tired of getting worse the day after every time I run any errands. And that's one of the silver linings that the pandemic brought - remote work and grocery orders actually finally becoming possible.

Definitely, being in the moment (in our out of your head) is required for intimacy.

In some other situations it's something else, but let's not discuss those now.

😏 Truthery!!

By the way … having your groceries delivered. I don’t do it much but when I need to … it’s a treat.

The simple things.

Cheers.

I don't have a car, delivery is cheaper than owning one. If I don't have them delivered, I have to either get them by bike, or take the bus which means something like 400m walking (to + from bus). And the store is a total sensory nightmare, that mall is so noisy. So... For me it's not a treat, it's a method of survival these days.

But what about dancing?

I can see the sensory nightmare element. It can be a lot. On those days, I’m locked in and I get in and out.

On the other days … I don’t mind the crowd. I like dancing through it all.

Epiphanies are one of the great lights along our journey. It's startling how things suddenly become clear and then you can't understand why you never saw it before.

Cheers.

I always get tired by noise. And that mall is terribly noisy in itself, without crowds. (I've seldom seen it crowded.) Combine central radio with awful echo... Can't understand how the workers deal with it. Even hypermarkets aren't usually that bad.

Phew. @cascadiabound - maybe a hot chocolate? With a splash of Cointreau?

Sensory overload indeed.

What sounds do you like?

The sound of rain? Of the ocean? The night sounds of the forest?

Oh there’s a laundromat next door? That’s really convenient.
Actually the laundromat IS literally next door to us right now!
But I guess @cascadiabound and @Mrtenant need somewhere to wash the.., ummm.. sheets and blankets from the Dungeons..,
Edit: I guess Gossamer enjoys a spin in the washer and dryer as well

No white noise type at all! Absolutely not wind or ocean. And forest doesn't really make noise without wind. Except the sound of your own footsteps. (I used to do orienteering when as a teenager and our summer cottage is surrounded my forest, too.)

Tiny sound from a tiny stream may be nice. Or music.

I don't have any auditory sensory issues so wind, rain etc is nice (as long as I'm inside of course). The sound of surf is very relaxing to me as are the summer night sounds.

But a crown let go on me today so even though there's no pain the edges of my tooth feel like razor blades. I can't see the dentist until Friday so I will definitely be drinking tonight.
