Ouch. That's definitely very painful, but indeed something you can handle at home.

My dad once got an even bigger one (about the size of his palm) from a new battery for a headlamp used in night orienteering (this was in the 90's, before leds). It got way hotter than supposed. And that competition was just before our planned week-long hike in Lapland! Guess if he went into emergency care? It was already almost a day old when he came back home. Guess who took care of it during the hike... But those vaseline patches work well, they prevent anything from sticking in the wound. He managed to carry his backpack. And it healed properly. For some reason I only have memories from the initial care, and none later, though of course it needs to be cared for for days.

I'm only going to reminisce once, but back in my late twenties I was badly burned in a factory fire. 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns and I spent three months in the hospital burn unit. Six months in rehab & many months in bandages, I still have scars. At least Mrs Rj changed my bandages. I still have bad dreams of it. No further description of the event, because I don't want remember it and it 'Will' be disturbing to read. So If you have a strong stomach, ask... otherwise I won't provide it 🫶 :heart:

I am intrigued by this. I haven't heard a word that describes me or my outlook. SinfulDreams once told me to not worry about it because how that relationship works isn't based on some description, but how the people in the relationship make it work. But a "little" that is cherished?? I love the sound of that.🥹🥹🥹

Oh my. How would I describe it shortly...

While there are many kinds of littles (even dominating ones, I personally know one switch here locally, andI know some like very rough play), the common feature is the need to be taken care of - more so than most subs. We do have that childish side that may make it tough to adult in the daily life. And most, if not all, have a very, very vulnerable side that needs to be held safe.

Being a caregiver to a little is no small task, it may involve a lot. But the rewards are high. A little that is well can be a very, very joyous creature to have by your side.

There's a lot more in the Daddy's Little Girl thread. The current discussion is already in v.4, but for learning about the whole thing the original thread is the best (and 2-3). Stumbling upon that about 26 months ago made me find myself. CG/l (or DD/lg or whatever version each one calls it) is often more known for those regressing into younger than they are (which is not something all littles do), but these threads have less colouring books and glitter, and more about the emotional stuff. Though there ARE many blanket forts and hot chocolates, too!

All this discussion intrigues me to reveal my past of which I'm forbidden to tell. My father, my mother and my twin sister and my older brother. All deceased and all in an ordered, structured environment. Not bdsm, but similar. Mistress Kathy says it's OK, but I don't know. I've been tight lipped until now, even Brenda doesn't know all of it.
