So you're not sewing a historically inspired skirt ?Me too! Just not the same as yours...
Naw... It's a kisser... Made of plastic canvas and yarn.So you're not sewing a historically inspired skirt ?
I did that once...So you're not sewing a historically inspired skirt ?
I've done a whole national dress, or folkdress if you will. Basically a copy of a late 18th century dress. Now I'm doing a dress that's structurally quite similar, but for daily use, with less expensive fabrics.I did that once...
Probably never again....
Probably... Cause the dinner was the best! Part of history of costume ....
Sounds very awesome. The national dress is for any festivities. My chosen daughter borrows it for graduating from high school. And the skirt I'm doing now will also be used as an underskirt to make he hips look wider.
Oh that's one reason I'm gravitating towards historical ones. They knew how to sew clothes that could fit various sizes! Like this skirt. My chosen daughter has 20cm smaller waistline, and it will fit her too.Sounds very awesome.
I try to stay away from making clothes it just stresses me out ....
So I just craft sew instead.![]()
Sewing has always been something that helps me be calm. Whether it's dresses or quilt tops/quilting, I enjoy it.I've done a whole national dress, or folkdress if you will. For me it's calming if there are no Issues. Like fitting issues - which have kept me away from sewing clothes for a really long time, save a few circle skirts. Now that I discovered the joy if historical ones... Which I love anyway!Sewing has always been something that helps me be calm. Whether it's dresses or quilt tops/quilting, I enjoy it.
No problems @Strixaluco, but...pot....green....normally comes rolled or as cookies. Let me know.My meds can't be dripped (they're inhaled), so while you're fixing things, @Dreamliner, can you fix a pot of green tea, too? Just ordinary way, it will attract me up...
Do they come in Girl Scout cookies? No problems @Strixaluco, but...pot....green....normally comes rolled or as cookies. Let me know.
Yes, but let's not go there.Do they come in Girl Scout cookies?

Thanks for the return Greetings!!
My area in Ohio had heavy rain about an hour ago & threats of a tornado. Only a threat. Thanks for the return Greetings!!
In my area of Ohio, USA we only had 3 below normal temperature days in May (so far), the rest of the days have been moderately above normal (heat)We've had brief rain showers, and apparently thunder here and there.
Already 11 heat days in May! Usually none before June, and the long-term average for the whole summer is 33 (between June and August).
And 5 more to come in just May. Even 28-29°C. In 10 days there might me one day that's not hot.
