Warning - Long story

The other week, I went to get the bus to work. My son’s girlfriend was with me. At the bus stop, I started to feel hot and needed to sit down but there aren’t any seats at the bus stop. I sat down on the kerb. A couple of minutes later, the bus came around the corner and I tried to get up. Not being 10 years old anymore, I couldn’t get up. I asked my son’s girlfriend to help me and she tried pulling me up by arm at the side of me. The girl is barely 5 stone wet through. I couldn’t twist enough to get up and the bus was getting nearer. I turned myself over so I was on my knees with my arse pointing out into the road. She tried to help me again but I stumbled and went face down on the floor. She managed to get me up just as the bus pulled into the stop. A woman who I normally talk to on the bus had seen me on the floor and came running down the bus to see if I was ok. I pretended I was and just said I was going to go back home. She asked if I was ok to walk back home and I said I only lived 50 years down the road. The bus driver asked if I wanted him to drive me there. I just kept saying that I was fine. I felt like such a twat. I only ended up with a grazed knee and a ton of embarrassment
