🔮 What are you doing right now? 🔮

Guysssss. Sleeve city is under attack by me 😭

You see this? This is how a sleeve, for a very first time beginner should look! A little hole under the arm that I can definitely fix and stitch up after everything is said and done. Cute.

But this? This? I can’t fix this.

So now what do I do? It was a practice sweater but she was going so well and my motivation has just dropped. I don’t have anyone to help me any time soon.

So my options are to continue the sleeve I’m on now and just… have a one armed sweater. Or do I unravel the entire freaking thing so I can reuse the yarn and start over.

I feel like I know the answer 😭😭😭😭
I would redo it. Coming out well and learning experience for sure. That would be my choice 🤷‍♂️😉

For the first time in an age and I’m writing.

It feels good, surprisingly good; a dichotomy of trudging through the steps and moments of words dancing across the page.

I’ve composed so many things in my head but to compose it on paper (literally, scratching words across the pages of an old, forgotten and dusty journal) … it’s like the difference between eating food and eating the food that you cooked.

Kinda feeling foolish for letting myself forget.
Oh, keep going!

I am working on something for Lit (where I compose on the computer), but I am also about 2/3rds way though my latest novel. I write my mainstream novels by hand, and then revise when transposing to the computer. But I just love the feel, that sound of the pen on paper...

I am happy for you!
