Have they supplanted the snails?Being a helicopter parent... but over my new shrimp... they are very sensitive![]()
What kind of shrimp?Being a helicopter parent... but over my new shrimp... they are very sensitive![]()
They exist with the snails. And it's really funny because the snails were like "who the fuck are these yahoos?" Only one tank was ready for shrimp though, so the other just has two snails...Have they supplanted the snails?
Cherry neocaridina! I have 6 to start, and at least one is female, so hopefully lots and lots more to come! What kind of shrimp?

Edit: I once had a pistol shrimp and goby pair up. It wa very interesting seeing them work together.
These are my first tanks ever. I've done tons of research up to this point. Have plants, snails, and now shrimp!Very cool! I have had different salt water shrimp but never freshwater.

Not any more. They are a lot of work and expensive. I did have 3 going in the house at one. Lots of fish and coral. I started having issues with one tank slowly dying off. My original tank was getting over gone with a nuisance coral. When we tried to clean it up it essentially nuked the entire tank! They defend themselves with chemical warfare! I do miss them though. Someday I might try again. These are my first tanks ever. I've done tons of research up to this point. Have plants, snails, and now shrimp!
Saltwater is an eventual tank I wanna try, but I love so many freshwater choices and the plants for them.
Do you still keep saltwater tanks![]()
No, I meant in your heart, not the tankThey exist with the snails. And it's really funny because the snails were like "who the fuck are these yahoos?" Only one tank was ready for shrimp though, so the other just has two snails...

I have heard that about saltwater tanks. Another reason I started with freshwater. Although, it's an expensive hobby regardless. I'm sorry you lost your tank like that, breaks my heart. I hope you do get to try againNot any more. They are a lot of work and expensive. I did have 3 going in the house at one. Lots of fish and coral.
