Wondering what is it about coffee that makes people want to drink it??

I like the actual taste; caffeine doesn't really give me energy (my body metabolizes it too fast).
I can have a cup of joe right before bed and still be out like a light in 5 minutes.

I printed out a short story my writer's group will be critiquing Thursday so I can read and evaluate it. I also printed a page or two of a favorite scene from a book I loved (Project: Hail Mary!). Each of us in the group will read a particular passage we most enjoyed and then we'll discuss what made the segment so meaningful to us when we read it.
