Someone told me to take the pics in "pro mode" on my phone and it darkened that way and it worked.

We didn't get the total eclipse here and I didn't have the appropriate protective glasses anyway...but it did get noticeably darker outside (like wearing sunglasses without the sunglasses). It was cool regardless
