I didn't just learn about them but I haven't listened to at all except for once against my will. I can't remember the song but I immediately hated it and then was never interested in their music again. Then my kids grew up and started liking their own music. We have a shared playlist to keep the peace in the car. The playlist plays and no one is allowed to complain. I recently heard this and now I need to do more exploration... But I love this song.

Quite recently one of y'all posted "I Hope You're Happy" and it quickly became my anthem. I needed that song to process some pretty deep grief I've been carrying and it has helped me translate it into something joyful. I immediately looked further into Blue October and listening to this is the next level of processing I need to do.

Their music speaks to me in this season and I'm so bloody grateful because it's EXACTLY what I need

My depth with Blue October was limited to the song about jumping into the sea and floating, their radio hit, before finding the other song you mentioned a couple of months ago (I think I was the first to post it here). I have really enjoyed digging into their music since then. There is a lot more there than I thought when I was singing to the radio.
