Very cool. I don't actually know Lisa LeBlanc... but you've started me down the rabbit hole...
You have a habit of exposing me to really cool artists that I'm unaware of from right here in my own country!

Remember when you used to go to the mall to buy CD's? Well, I do. And I bought this album and his second when a certain song was playing on the radio that was in a popular movie at the time.

I chose this song because it transports me back to the 90's everytime I hear it.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra - Music For A Found Harmonium

My brain exploded at "any song" - too much choice. I have used most of my favourite bands previously, so thought of this... another band that shaped my music tastes. Their music was hard to get hold of, not classical, not rock. Certainly not new age, which is where they got lumped early on... then world music. They just deserve their own section.
Simon Jeffes - who wrote this - sadly died, his son, Arthur has taken over the reins and the Orchestra part has been dropped.
This track is now considered to be a folk classic, but it's from the 1980's and written by Jeffes, not a traditional song at all... it's had dance mixes, celtic takes and all sorts of other versions, but this is THE Orchestra, the Penguins.
