The Pogues seem the right choice for 80’s day but Fairytale of New York and all the bonus points were stolen, so we can go with one of the great versions of a beautiful anti-war song,

That was my mindset going into it. I’d set aside other parameters.

Understandably confused. As a consummate team-player, I’m weirdly defensive of playing by the rules. So, my mistake was real…I feel bad about it…and posted in support of the goal of the actual thread (all praise Traci Chapman).

But my narcissistic side would love to lay claim to some chaos caused by the thread. Unfortunately, you nipped that in the bud, didn’t you? Absolutely no chaos. Tend to you garden. Apologies for planting an inadvertent weed or two.

People say life's dull, and we need to inject some chaos. When is life dull?
I think life's a nearly overwhelming adventure every day... beautiful, but scary!
