Bonus: Even though Canadians (at least in my relatively low-population part of the country) sometimes get annoyed at stereotypical suggestions or jokes that we all know one another, my ex-wife went to high school with Tegan and Sara (lol).
Sometimes this vast country of ours seems very small...

Wow! The world really is tiny. I'd ask for gossip but it feels like an invasion of privacy If something interesting happened that they didn't write about in their book I'd guess it's not meant for us regular mortals to hear.

See, part of the problem is that "guilty pleasure" just never really computed for me. If I like something, I will wallow unabashedly in it no matter who else might not like that I like it.

So, after some careful thought and much searching and rearranging of the mental musical archives, I recalled a band my son turned me on to a while back that is truly, magnificently atrocious. Unfortunately, they are a "cover band" so I'm not sure they should count. But, hey. Life's way too short not to laugh diabolically anytime you can.
