It was a leafy autumn camping trip — one of my first. Cute girls and all the guys wanted to show off. The drive to frozen head was filled with sing-along music. Windows down, buzzing with that 20 year-old freedom. This was one of those songs.

Before my daughter was a teen, she actually liked some of my crazy music. We would go on drives and play good music. She would make me mixes.

Then she became a teen, and she rebelled against my music! Now at 24, she’s back in the fold.

My dad loved country music. My mom maybe did. She liked R&B and rock too. But my parents had this on 45. I have it somewhere in the basement.

We loved this as kids - then horrified as teens!

My dad was born in. 1926, served in ww2 and was an ironworker. My mom was born in 1929 and passed earlier this year. God love them!

We were able to bring a CD into the delivery room... and chose this one. The track, "Wise One" (so very aptly titled) was playing when my son was born.

Mine were fun when younger, career and kid focused later but coffee was always on and in the background..

My parents listened to the radio a lot, not really albums, so I don't know that I remember them putting on anything specific, only saying when they loved a song when it came on. We listened to a lot of oldies, and I chose this one because I remember it... and because I find it hilarious how children and adults will hear very different things in a song. Like if you're listening to Posty sing Circles with your five year old.
