Day 3 - A song tied to a memory.

I was just a kid, sitting in a massive theater, when I saw this. The words, silent: A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..." Then an explosion of sound. Magic, and it always comes crashing back to me.

"Star Wars Main Theme," John Williams conducting the London Symphony Orchestra.

Day 3: A song tied to a memory

Fly Away Home was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I used to rent the tape from my school library over and over again.
This song is played at the beginning in a really sad scene and then again at the end in a really happy scene.

I remember one day I heard the song playing in the house and my mom fumbling her way through the lyrics. I asked what she was doing and she said she was trying to learn it. She did learn it, and it was added to the lullabies list.
I don’t think she ended up singing it to me that many times because it made (and still makes) me really sad, but the effort for connection was really beautiful and I’ll never forget that.

Mary Chapin Carpenter - 10,000 Miles

Day 4: A song you'd put on a sex playlist
I don't know why this was the first thing that popped into my head, but this was the first thing that popped into my head.
To anyone who's ever considered having sex with me (including my wife), I'm so, so sorry.
That being said, if you're still interested, Come on down!

I dont listen to music during sex because the tempo might not be what I need my lover to be going by so... probably 90-120 bpm or less? I don't want a heart attack happening where they are trying to match an edm track.

Rush, Rush - Paula Abdul (ft. Keanu Reeves 🥵)

As a father, that is one of the sweetest stories I have read in this thread.

Day 4: A song you’d put on a sex playlist

I still remember the first time playing this when I was DJing. The owner came up while it was playing and just looked at me for a minute, and I didn't know if she was just going to fire me on the spot. Then she just laughed and said I had to use it every night.

The song samples porn star Jasmine St. Claire from The World's Biggest Gangbang 2. Her interviews on that shoot are pretty hilarious. According to the film, she was supposed to take on 300 guys in 24-hours. There were about 30 actual guys - they kept changing things, like hats and glasses, in case anyone was actually paying attention-- and only a third could perform while on camera. The film was a hit, and she called it the biggest swindle in porn. It makes the song even funnier.

I was shuffling Kylie yesterday and it did cross my mind that this song is pretty hot. The video is sexy too, I mean that strut up to the bedazzled skull microphone halfway through 🫦 Maybe I'm not totally straight or maybe I just want to be Kylie Minogue when I grow up 🤔
