Day 29: A song for a nature walk

First of all, I need to set up walking dates with a bunch of you cos I'm digging the vibes you all are giving! Second of all, I love this prompt 😍 Any day is a good day for a nature walk (well, weather permitting) but May Day especially so and I'm looking for a sort of hippie earth goddess energy. This fits nicely.

Seems We are going to be Getting a lot more Sunshine on This Little Nature Walk ...

One of the first songs I ever learned to sing. I thought my parents glances at each other were meant to mean, “Isn’t she adorable”. Years later I learned it was more my Mom looking at my Dad knowing he hated that song. Now when I walk into their house I always belt out a few verses because I do enjoy being an annoying little brat. Don’t it feel good!!!

Day 30: A song released in 2025

The algorithm sent this my way this morning and it's simply beautiful plus the video is so lovely that I was hoping to find a way to share it here soon. That was a short wait! As per the video description:
Rammana is a traditional folk song of the Urak Lawoi, a Thai indigenous sea nomads that live on the coast of South Thailand. The Urak Lawoi would sing "Rammana" at the beginning of Plajak Ceremony, a floating boat ceremony which takes place twice a year at the beginning and at the end of rain season. The song invites the different spirits of the island to come celebrate together with the locals. Similarly, this song is a celebration of east and west, inviting you, regardless of who you are, the listeners, to join the party and say ‘ma-chai-yo!’ (มาไชโย), which translates to ‘cheers!’ in the local language.

I've been listening to this song a lot lately so I really wanted to share it. Imagine my surprise when I saw Andrew Scott in the music video. Well, I love this song even more now.

I didn't know Andrew was in this video 😍🤩 I'm going to watch it again for umm, research 🤭 If anyone else knows of other music videos he's been in, my PMs are open 😂
