Day 15: Post a song about things ending.

every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end...and while time is undefeated, the story is neverending...

The scene where Lucas and Max sing the duet to make fun of them lives rent free in my head.

Day 15: Post a song about things ending.

Even though I have done the prompts this week (and my apologies to all of you), I have tried to play fair and not write prompts for songs I wanted to use. (The only exception was for people you can't get out of your head. As soon as I thought of that, I knew which song was with her.) So this one has been interesting because there are so many places to go with it, and I love watching where everyone lands. But I couldn't figure on my own. So I went to bed this morning (it was a long night) and woke up humming this one.

It covers a part of a relationship ending that doesn't get a lot of songs written about it: awkward small talk. And as I have said before, I love Great Big Sea and this is the band at its most charming

"What do you see?" by Native American (Diné Navajo) punk rock band Blackfire. In 1994 they got to know the Ramones when CJ produced one of their earlier albums and this song, from their 2002 EP "One Nation Under", features the last ever recording by Joey Ramone. In 2001 he died, lymphoma. He's on backing vocals.

Thank you! I have listed to Sihasin, but I haven't gone back to the Blackfire days. I will rectify that.
