Sounds familiar. I don’t know if you saw the Tony Hawk doc, Until The Wheels Come Off, but it is phenomenal. Not only an unbelievable human and story, but the music kicks ass.

I think I've watched most stuff covering everything from the bones brigade up until x-games 2024 just as UTWFO came out he broke his femur and was unable to promote it can't believe he came back from that at his age...

Yeah dude is a real wild man. I remember in college just watching The End on repeat. I think there is some doc out there about Big Brother skate mag I need to get around to watching.

Anyways, I never really could get into roller skating but used to skateboard with my walkman and listen to Motley Crue.

I don't live in that corner of NJ anymore, but I know exactly the places you're talking about. Whitehouse and Frenchtown, at least. Flanders not so much.

I'm terrible on roller skates, so the few times I'd go with friends I'd try, fall on my butt a whole bunch, then sit and eat fries all night. Plus, all those times at the roller rink were when I was younger, before I ever had a girlfriend, so I'm not sure what the "last couples' skate" vibe should be. But I like this song and I think it feels appropriate?

We don't really have skate parks over here. But I could and can skate. On 4 wheel skates, not inline. And I was a fucking demon. I think I went through a whole summer where they were barely off my feet.

The closest I ever came to breaking a bone was at the skating rink which is weird because I actually could skate, just not at the rink. Add in the fact that 13-year-old me would sooner die than ask a boy anything other than to get out of my way and you get the picture that I'm not about to be out there for couple's skate. However this song was popular at the time and I would've found it entertaining for this song to be played while I waited on the sidelines.
