❌Monthly Song Challenge: Archived🎵

I have such a love hate relationship with this song. Don’t know about anywhere I else but in SoCal this song was soooooooooo overplayed for such a long time I started to dread hearing it.

And yet, Sumertime and the living’s easy is a fucking vibe.
I get that, there are a few songs I can't stand for no other reason than they were played to death. However, I experience music a little differently, in that it is visual for me as well as auditory. Anything with a vibraphone/xylophone family of insteaments is an instant favorite because it's hits all of my senses just right

Day 30: A song that mentions a city name
The Princess Theater in Pocatello, Idaho existed. Pocatello is my hometown! I tried to find a video of Judy Garland actually singing it, but the shorter clips were pulled, and the others were 8+ minutes. Also, this is from the 1st remake of A Star Is Born.

My home town has already been mentioned twice (Toronto), I was gonna sneak in a Rush song, but maybe later. IOt would have caused a fight over the pronunciation of "Z".

Here's a guy from back home (Omemee Ontario to be exact), singing about that town that Bugs Bunny should've turned left in:
