Sorry for not following the prompt today, but I wanted to echo what @ Pad_Foot wrote. I don't know if there are animal sounds mimicked or even mentioned on this album, but it is called Pet Sounds and it's one of the greatest albums ever recorded. Brian Wilson, who passed away yesterday, was a musical genius and he will be missed. He was a real musical hero of mine.​

Paul McCartney, one of Wilson’s biggest admirers, has called The Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows” the “greatest song ever written."
