I've heard a lot of bleating about impeachment since before he was sworn in but no one has pointed to any specific crime and offered real evidence.
I've read the AP stories, I've read the commentaries pro and con, and I've watched the silly, breathless, over the top coverage on CNN, which is so much like these silly, over the top Trump is doomed and the end is near threads where you folks gather.
Each week we're assured that Mueller has the hammer and it's going to fall soon. If Mueller had a hammer he would have used it a long, long time ago. The way this investigation leaks information like a sieve, if there was something substantive we'd know about it, but more and more it looks like there is no there there.
Maybe there's something in the dossier we don't know about, huh? Do you suppose that's it?

I wouldn't mind if the guy acted more presidential. I can do without the tweets and some of the comments, though I believe many of those comments and tweets are part of his strategy to meet some goal.
But he is not a train wreck. He is confronting China on intellectual property theft that previous administrations have done nothing about. He's also taking on China and the rest of world to give U.S. producers and even playing field for trade. The most recent example is the death of NAFTA and the hoped-for new deal between the U.S., Mexico and Canada that is much more favorable to us.
At home the economy is chugging along nicely thanks in no small part to the tax cuts and Trump's systematic dismantling of the regulatory state installed by Obama and his predecessors.
Finally, the idea that Trump is Putin's buddy and that he'd sell out the U.S. for the Oval Office is too ludicrous for discussion. Anyone only marginally aware of current events would see that.
