What I’m seeing is Trump getting nailed for obstruction while Republicans on the panel are ineffectively trying to chip away at the edges on credibility.

Bob Mueller is struggling. It strikes me as a health issue. We need only look at footage of his earlier congressional appearances to see the dramatic difference in his demeanor and communicative abilities.

I'm not sure anyone could have done more to discredit Mueller's report and investigation than Mueller is doing right now. He can't answer simplec questions about his own investigation, fumbles answers about his own report, and seems utterly befuddled by what's happening.

After today, Rory will declare some sort of vague victory again, avoid any substantive discussion of how flat this fell, then hide from his thread again, other than to announce that posts in the thread mean people substantively discussing the flop of Mueller's appearance are "triggered."

Given how little he knows about the report that bears his name it's pretty clear that he was an absentee overseer. A bunch of anti-trump Democrats were allowed to drag this on, long after it was clear there was no merit to continuing.
