“This is just the beginning”: Alt-right rejoices as violent protests rock Berkeley

 "Fascism"?

Except for the nationalist part the anti free speech left fits the bill to a T.

Walks like a duck, shits like a duck....

If they were super nationalist they would be more Nazi than the neo-Nazi's.

Those on the left who regularly threaten or use violence to shut down our constitutional order.

Lie.

They claim to be anti-fascist (Antifa) but in truth, it is they who use violence, and forcibly suppress their opposition.

Lie.

They are totalitarian in nature.

Lie.

Their membership is a loose alliance of Communists, anarchists, and radical socialists.

Mostly false -- they're in it, I'm sure, but it's a much broader coalition than that.

They are the new Brownshirts.

Laughable.

And even if every word you posted were true, that would not make anti-Trumpers fascists. "Fascist" has a much narrower and more specific meaning than "totalitarian" or "employing political violence."

Trump does that, too. Accuses the opposition of the things he's been doing.

It looks like Coulter will in fact back out of her speaking engagement in Berkeley, citing failing support from conservatives who invited her. Fascism wins again.
"It's a sad day for free speech," said Ann, without any restrictions or infringements, and being printed in newspapers.

Wouldn't make them fascist either.

Yea, the nationalism part kinda shits on that even though that's really the only difference here.

What do you call an anit-nationalist fascist then?

Generic left wing terrorist?

Well, also the totalitarianism, the embracing of political violence in the head-busting sense as a tactic, etc., etc. In fact, beyond species, there are no similarities at all between fascists and AntiFas.

It's also totalitarianism in action.

Bow to my politics or I'll harm you....that's the totalitarian metal hittin' the meat right there buddy.

In fact, beyond species, there are no similarities at all between fascists and AntiFas.

Ummmm all the similarities except the nationalism part.

So generic lefty terrorist then?? Yes??

If it was a lie it wouldn't be such a feared concept and reviled term. ;)

Irrelevant, since AntiFas don't do that.

They are on the news, doing that nearly weekly.....there is HOURS of mainstream media and independent reporters filming them do it REGULARLY.

And we all know it, you brainwashed socialist liar.

. . . are not similarities but differences.

They are similarities KO. Read something other than Marx and Salon ffs.

In the real world they are 1 more dead cop or burnt university away from being called a terrorist organization and having that wonderful centralized government blowing their fuckin' doors off the hinges at 2am. :)

They're marching and yelling and perhaps occasionally vandalizing and sometimes getting into tussles with Trumpers, but "Bow to my politics or I'll harm you" has nothing to do with any of that.

Openly declaring war and direct threats of violence against the opposing political view, calling for their blood just for discussing a different point of view.....then following through with those threats repeatedly is about as "bow to my politics or I'll harm you" as it gets.

Seriously who are you trying to lie to KO? Me or yourself???

AntiFa is just one short step away from loading them on a train to an extermination camp.

If they had the majority power they would do it. And if they were nationalist they would be called fascist for it just like the Nazis.

Never heard of them doing any of that, except perhaps in a hyperbolic-rhetorical sense.

Never heard of them doing that at all. And, no, the Berkeley riot is no instance.

Don't worry about it. AntiFa has considerably less power now than the Brownshirts had in 1925, and they'll never get their hands on that kind of power, and they wouldn't do that anyway, they don't think like that. You will be spared to die of natural causes, or perhaps a Syrian bullet, if you go the merc route.
