Coming out from work this time the day was just...different. a bit overcast, then clear as the boat made it's way to Juneau. The fog lifting off the water, moving inland in low patches.

Walking down to the boat two eagles were perched on the hand rail, one facing south the other facing north. As I dropped my bag to get my camera, they flew off. Eagles to that. They tease you with great shots, then before you can get set, they fly away, laughing in their little eagle voices...'Ssssuuuuucker'. ;)

Anyway, some shots from Southeast Alaska...

Damn that puts my office view of the baptist church accross the street to shame!

And they pay you to work there too? As Rhys said, "Wow!"

Yeah, every once in a while I'll see something while at work and think...'and to think they are paying me to be here!'

When I was there, I looked into reciprocity for my RN license
At 21, I almost moved there

We can always use good nurses like you JP.:rose:

Home for me...looking towards Deer Mountain, from the waterfront.

From the road to Brown Mountain. I've been up here on search and rescues a couple of times too. Easy to get lost or in deep in a short time.

Looking across at two islands, Pennock and Gravina, from above my house on the mountain.
