Alaskans? Anyone out there?

i'm dandy.....nice to meet you.....

just another drippy afternoon in anchortown

I am doing pretty well also. Southern southeast is pretty dark and dreary today also...but the beer is cold and some nice mellow tunes make for a good afternoon. Halibut for supper! Can't ask for much more in life.

i suppose you could ask......LOL

but you seem to have most of the bases covered

Looks like between the three of us, we have most of the state covered! Welcome aboard 11Bravo10. Are you perchance on active duty at Ft Wainwright?

i know there are more than 3 people out there from Alaska on this board....

don't be shy

It is summertime everyone is out enjoying the sun and what we have. I know there are more Alaskans on this board...give it time, they will be here.

Ok

Obviously not many Alaskans here. How about hearing from people curious enough to ask some questions about the greatest state in the union?

Hiya Duskytip :rose: so where in that great 49th state are you?

South East Alaska...Rain Country. I live in a small town near Misty Fiords National Monument. One of the most beautiful spots on earth and one I am proud to call home.

hi, Ragdohll

I'm here in busy Anchorage.......it's only 15 minutes from Alaska.......LOL

There you are! Delicacy...

It's been a while since I've seen your smiling avatar...

I hope the world is treating you well and that you're enjoying the summer!

and i think i need new hip waders.......

Nothing is sexier than a man wearing nothin' but hipwaders.
You wear them, I'll fly up and take the pictures. Deal?

I'm having a great summer. I spent 11 days in the bowels of California.
It was so damn hot (85-105 degrees) I could not wait to get back home and enjoy the beauty of the gloom & rain.

Have you went fishing at all? Hiking? Spelunking? Anything fun and exciting?

You know, all work and no play makes Thør a dull boy.

:)

other than work, i've biked and paddled a bit, plus yardscaping and some golf......so there is some play, but not nearly enough.......

i'm gonna have to go down to BJ's and see what kinda boots they have in stock!

Are you talking about paddling as in kayak/canoe or paddling as in "baby's been a bad bad girl?"

I'm planning a trip up to Seward/Anchorage during the beginning of August. If you're talking about kayak/canoe paddin', I could use a paddling pardner while in Seward.

LOL.........not paddling any butts, although bad girls are always fun, i'm not into "alt" activities...... been paddling the canoe a bit on the river, it's nice to get out in the evenings and leave "Anchorage" behind......early August?.....not a bad time to be in Seward......

:)
