The Department of Government Efficiency (aka DOGE)

There is nothing the federal government does that we would be better off without, and nothing the states or the private sector could do better.

Can you name one thing outside of warfare??

Fuck they aren't even very good at that.

Well? Musk wants to shelve the F35 in favor of drones, so maybe one good thing can be accomplished. We shall see if the “steam catapult “ mentality can accept modern warfare ideas?? If not? Get them to watch the Enterprise getting destroyed by drones

Tech advancements are a thing and yea there is deff some stagnation in the mentality, but cold war boomers/silents are still mostly in charge and they're permanently stuck in 1973...... steam cat mentality is going to be around until they go away.

We don't really lack in that department though, we got the best war toys, hands down....it's comically not even close.

it's the coping with the reality/cost/consequences of war they cluster fuck to infinity and beyond. We regularly venture out to war without having any real desire or plan to win or advance the interest of the US citizenry. We just set people and money on fire so contractors can re-up their contracts. It's absolutely fucking retarded.

Now you're talking like a Commie. You're complaining about capitalism -- it is the logic of capitalism that dictates war should be run for profit as you are describing.

A self-driving vehicle is supposed to be crashproof. That is the point of it.
Are Tesla Cybertrucks marketed as fully autonomous, self-driving vehicles that are safe to operate at any speed under any condition with no user interaction? Fiery crashes in the wee hours of the morning involving college age people are often associated with unsafe behavior. Not saying that’s the case here, but without knowing all the circumstances, it might be a stretch to argue that Elon Musk is responsible and is therefore unqualified to be a co-leader in the DOGE initiative.

I've never seen the advertising, but that is exactly what the name implies.

No it doesn't . Try thinking for a second or two before making these half baked silly responses. Musk is an ass who warrants criticism, but it's much more effective if you put some thought into it before spewing out your usual ill considered tripe.

"Cybertruck" means "self-driving."

There's a built-in safety valve in an open society. Those who would bring that caldron to boil found it more expedient to simply live elsewhere leaving those left more and more at the mercy of philosophy gone bad...
That makes no sense. Political activists are never expatriated in any significant numbers, save by a revolution that goes against them.

Wrong again - Cyber means pertaining to computers or computing. Perhaps you confused it with Cybaea which is a form of transport, but with no connection to either "self" or "driving."

Does he have an alibi (and he can't use the convicted felon!)?

As is often the case, Politruk is misinformed. The Cybertruk is not an autonomous vehicle. There is an optional feature in a subset of Cybertruck population called Full Self-Driving (Supervised) that enhances driver assist functionality.

Some Tesla Cybertrucks Are Getting Full Self-Driving

Tesla begins rolling out its FSD driver-assist system in its latest model, but it’s not a step toward eyes-off capability for regulatory reasons.

It includes this warning:

"Note: This is an early access build. You and anyone you authorize must use additional caution and remain attentive," Tesla said. "It does not make your vehicle autonomous. Do not become complacent."

Cybertrucks are ugly and useless. As with those f-150 super sized extend cabs.

If you don't have a truck bed to haul shit, you're literally just driving it to boost your ego

And the tragic accident involving young people on college break crashing a Cybertruck at 3:30 am has nothing to do with Elon Musk’s qualifications to serve as a DOGE co-leader.

Nope. There are many ethical questions regarding conflicts of interest, but his cyber truck being an ugly useless vehicle is not one.
