We've dealt with Trump's tariffs before. It just becomes a stupid retaliatory waste of time. I was listening to CBC about the former trump administration taxing Chinese imports. China said fuck off and started buying their agricultural products from other markets (i.e Brazil). The Trump admin had to pay out 28 billion in handouts to American farmers. And China, the biggest importer of American agricultural products declined 20% during that first administration and has never recovered. But, you know, why let past mistakes and facts get in the way of your tariff wars.
