The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

We didn't have enough to dig tunnels, but definitely forts. We had single basketball courts at the playland, and we would build forts making bricks of snow and stacking them. It would take a day to build the wall and pre-make snowballs and the next day we'd have war. We also rolled huge balls larger than we were and then form chairs out of them. I haven't seen snow since. I was 10 when we moved to the sunshine state
You have the memories which is good. You can always visit to get your refill of snow. Then jet home to get warm!

Good morning everyone.

Day 3 of this crap. The people leading this conference aren’t open to new ideas, even though all I keep hearing is “be an element for change”. It’s death by PowerPoint. The ironic part is they are streaming this and I could be back home getting the same result while still being able to get work done. At least I take my thermos of coffee with me to keep me awake.

Y’all have a great day.

I hope it gets better for you! 🤗

You need to move north young lady! We have a few snowfalls large enough for snowballs. When I was young boy, I remember building snow forts and tunnels and ambushing my older sister. Our neighborhood had a dozen boys and girls my age so snowball fights was common😂
Love that! One of my friends lived right next to a parking lot so there would be huge snowbanks right next to his house and we built huge forts and tunnels.

And the ambushes and snowball fighting goes without saying!!

Sounds like total drudgery.

Was this an internal conference or an external conference that someone had to actually shell out bucks for?

Either way, it sounds like you’re taking one for the team.
