No, I'm flying from jfk in NY to zurich, then 2 hour ride to davos.Private plane?
I saw one fatality in Washington state from a downed tree.I came through the storm unscathed. We are getting another today or tomorrow. I think it's mostly rain and less wind.
The storm last night was scary. I can't imagine how those who live in hurricane territory deal with these storms!
When talking with my step son or daughter at younger ages, I often referred to the ol Urban Dictionary. Here are some resources for the ones @Missk_2022 didn't list out for you. I often have to look them up myself. They are handy shorthand to save on typing IMO (in my opinion).

This reminds me of one of the worst jokes I’ve heard;Thought of the day
I always wanted to be somebody, but now I realize I should have been more specific.
Oh geez. That’s sounds awful greylag. Hope you can find a contractor or the part soon!Well what a few days….temperature dropped to around 26 and boiler packed in. Valve burst and sprayed water over the control unit…both screwed so no hot water or heating with freezing temperatures. Fortunately we have an electric shower and stove in the lounge that takes wood or coal. Waiting on parts for god knows how long grrr!
Time for cataract surgery my friend!Thank you

And most of you are using phones. That is a small screen
I've got a tablet and I use zoom for my crappy eyesight
This morning I woke up to snow on the trees and some icy roads. We were supposed to originally get no snow today and then maybe 45 mins of snow, but it’s now been snowing for 11hrs!
The streets were warmer at first so they and the side walks are ice skating rinks! We are in some advisory now.
Yum! I made butternut squash soup or thick like stew. And sourdough bread with some cheese for dinner.I love stew on a cold weather day! I made some chicken and rice soup that was more like stew. Also some beer cheese bread. I fed some to one of the guys today. He liked it!
I would love to have a snowball fight! Maybe one day...Good morning Wonderer, HDH, OM and Impy. I hope Wat is resting the foot and use the frozen water bottle before walking much.
Morning snow looks very pretty but it’s cold and bitter out. Staying inside by the fire.
You need to move north young lady! We have a few snowfalls large enough for snowballs. When I was young boy, I remember building snow forts and tunnels and ambushing my older sister. Our neighborhood had a dozen boys and girls my age so snowball fights was commonI would love to have a snowball fight! Maybe one day...
Good morning!
We didn't have enough to dig tunnels, but definitely forts. We had single basketball courts at the playland, and we would build forts making bricks of snow and stacking them. It would take a day to build the wall and pre-make snowballs and the next day we'd have war. We also rolled huge balls larger than we were and then form chairs out of them. I haven't seen snow since. Pretty amazing design looks. One of my neighbors is an industrial engineer and designer. He taught me to look at design more closely.View attachment 2430587
One of my all time favorites. There isn't ever a chance in any lifetime I would be able to own this. But I might buy the poster...

I used to travel a bit more too. Not as much as that, but maybe 3-4 days a month.I had a job where I traveled about 10 days out the month to cool places, I loved the job and the places but I got to the point where I hate eating out and wanted my own bed.
Sometimes when I working semi locally and I have a hotel room at the show hotel, I still drive home to sleep.
Dang if we lived closer together we could go togetherOh, you SHOULD take a stained glass course! My mom did that. She made some beautiful stuff. Maybe I should do that. I've been wanting some items to hang in windows, especially bathroom.
